So, I found something that isn't on the internets. When I was a wee young slip of a
shadowravyn, I had a record called Silversong. It's a Christian "allegory" (slightly more subtle than a brick to the face, but not by much. Not quite The Pilgrim's Progress level, but close.), where this funny little man meets up with these four kids and brings then on a magical adventure to meet 'the King.' No, not Elvis. On their way, they learn lessons (and sing songs) about faith, friendship, charity, etc.
I still love this record and can sing almost every song word-for-word. It's one of those "I-loved-it-as-a-child-and-cannot-help-loving-it-even-now." Don't worry though,
ddrpolaris hates it enough for both of us--I've made him listen to it a couple of times while in the car. He has since informed me that crashing into a guardrail is a viable alternative.
Anyway, I'm not entirely certain why I tried looking for it tonight, but I cannot find it on Google, Youtube, E-bay, or Wikipedia. I've tried searching by title, by lyrics, even by characters, but it just doesn't exist online. Which may mean I have the very last copy in existence.
No, I am not telling you where it is just so you can destroy it. For one thing, I'm not entirely certain I can find it.
EDIT: Ha! I found my tape!
