The Red Wings have won the Stanley Cup for the 11th time and the 4th time in 11 years. Those last three seconds almost killed me, but they pulled it off. Unfortunately it had to be in Pittsburgh where the crowd stood awkwardly silent while Detroit players took their turns with the Cup, but victory is sweet no matter the arena. And Lidstrom gets to be the first European captain to win the Cup and Cleary gets to be the first Newfoundlander to win it and isn't that just great?
Don't Lidstrom and Osgood look so pretty with the shiny Stanley Cup?
