Karate ...
Since Alanna's birthday, when she and xylass tripped over the business and all of us as a family were suitably impressed, she has been attending karate lessons.
This weekend, down in Castle Rock, our little girl will be testing for her Yellow belt. We'll see how she does. She knows her stuff, it's just a matter of keeping her focused.
The lessons have done well by her and the teacher is great with kids and neither Robert, nor I, say this lightly.
If nothing else, I am proud of her for having stuck with it. Even if she does not pass, I have faith that with a little patience, she will pass the test later and rock their socks off.
