Mommy blogs are full of pictures and ideas on how to make food as cute as possible. While it's fun to look at the picture and go "Awwww!" and kids are probably more likely to eat that tuna sandwich if it's in the shape of a cartoon character, from a non-mommy perspective, it looks like a competition. I'm sure moms have enough to do without having to feel like even snacks need to be picture perfect. Who decided to give women this added need for perfection under the guise of it being enjoyable? I'm torn between seeing how it could be fun sometimes, and being disappointed that moms feel the need to one up each other in such a trivial area.
