Yay for me!
Yay!
I'm finally transferring out of the Horror of Westwood into the Art Institute of Orange County.
I took a tour of the campus last night, and saw my Admissions person, and we discussed transportation, and financial topics during my visit there. I found the campus to be very impressive. All the computers were up to date, the Macs had the latest G5s, and only one room had G4s in it I think. The PCs were all HP, none of them were Dell.
Unlike Westwood where the computers are NEVER upgraded AT ALL. My Rep also told me that she used to work for the Westwood campus at Upland around 2 years ago. She was professional about it though and didn't rant about the bad points of Westwood.
I really would like to attend the Art Institute because of its challenging classes, instead of Westwood for its dull classes that I get uninspired in and slack off. I like to be challenged and work to my potential, rather than half-ass every assignment I do.
