This is my favorite chapter so far, I think!! I loved picturing them clothes shopping, the fact that Brian doesn't let Justin pick out his own dress clothes, and I can totally see the exchange between them in the dressing room before Justin left. This is turning out to be so much fun!

This broke me just a little bit:

I’m a credit card with legs, but you really know how to spend time with him and listen. Maybe that’s why I went a little over-the-top this morning. I just wanted to be able to give him something no one else could.

Poor Brian will never fully realize how much he means to Gus, and what he gives him that isn't monetary... but I love that Justin is there to remind him.

Thank you sooooo much! I'm trying to challenge myself to develop the characters a little more with each installment. I hope I'm not going to disappoint you.

ITA--That's exactly how I see Brian. As someone who doesn't realize that he has the love of Justin & Gus unconditionally.

Shadow, this was the best so far - and the first two were great! I can see this running on and on, it is almost fly-on-the-wall stuff, so realistic, and for a moment or two, rather nerve-wracking! Very well done.

I'm so excited that you're enjoying this universe. I feel like I'm getting to know it better with each installment.

I like the "fly-on-the-wall" nature of this. It allows for truly visualizing the growth in all the relationships.
