My What If fic: Estrogenland vs. Testosteroneland

Here is the fic that I entered in the recent qaf_challenges. Thank you to all who commented and took the time to read it. It's only the second fic I've written and I'm thinking about writing a couple of other tales from this universe. If you haven't read it, I hope you enjoy it.

I really liked this Shadow. I love reading about Brian and Justin through the eyes of other characters.

You really captured the connection they shared with this passage.

He looked to Justin and it was amazing how you can actually see them say volumes worth of stuff with just a look or twitch of an eyebrow. It’s like they have their very own version of sign language that only the two of them can decipher.

I'm a sucker for fics where Brian gets a chance to be a real "hands on" Dad, and finding out that he's capable of raising a son without becoming like his own father. And of course, Justin is just awesome in his support for Brian! *sighs for the love*

I hope you write more. I think it's so easy to get caught up with QaF and become almost *compelled*, out of love for the characters and the show, to create a place for them through fics.

Thank you so much for all this wonderful feedback. I love seeing B/J as a mature stable couple with Gus around, yet trying to keep them IC. I also think it's important to reflect on canon regularly.

I do hope to write more--possibly in this universe.

I'm not sure I commented on this over at the challenge, but I absolutely adore this fic :o) The dynamic between the three of them as always been endearing to me and we just didn't get enough scenes in the series, so I'm glad we have the fics out there.

my favorite part:

I responded as clearly as possible since I was so nervous my voice may have been cracking more than usual, “I really want to be with you and MJ because, more than anything I want to learn to be the best possible man that I can be.”

“You think I can teach you that?” Dad asked.

“I’m sure you can.”

“I know you can,” Justin added wistfully.

I wanted to try very hard to refer back to canon whenever possible and this was one of those moments.
