I had read the book so was curious about the film. It was pretty well put together. The problem?

I do not buy Nicole Kidman as a 30-something woman. She is a wonderful actress but just cannot pull off the 30-something anymore. It was highly distracting and took me out of the movie each time I saw her. I could not help but think she had so many Botox injections to make her face look so smooth and 30-something. Distracting to me.

Otherwise, not a bad movie and the ending...just like with the book it angered me and made me want to applaud the adult children and what they decided to do about their parents. So satisfying after you realize that they were just brought into being to be Child A and Child B in their parents performance art.

Not a bad movie but Kidman was miscast.
