I'm BAAACK!

Damn! That feels good! I hope y'all had a better Christmas than I! Happy late (or very, very early) Christmas to you all!

I liked it! And it was like OMG, a book-turned-movie I could watch without getting pissed-of! That's rare, let me tell you! Even my mum and dad agreed that it wasn't all bad! And they haven't even read the books! I have, and I really like them. The move followed the book really good, that's always a big + in my opinion. I think that if you read and liked the book, you shouldn't be disappointed.
BUT there are a couple of things that I miss and/or would like to say about the movie.
# Lucy just didn't look Lucy to me, if you understand what I mean. Although she "acted" Lucy, most of the time anyway...
# Peter... a bit on to the 'Lucy' direction, but his looks didn't bug me half as much as Lucy did. And whythef*ck is he blond?
# God, I loved Susan and Edmund! They looked the way they should!
# Tumnus! Where were your tail? You are supposed to have this really long tail that you keep over your arm when you first meet Lucy! An adorable long tail! I miss it ;.; . And you weren't supposed to have those weird ears either, although you did look sort-of adorable with them...
# Jadis... If I hadn't read so many revives where they bitch about the witch and how the one playing here sawed the whole move... Maybe my reaction to her hadn't been "What's so special about her?". But I suppose I'm forced to believe that those who wrote those revives were people who hadn't read the books or didn't like them...
# There were lots of "improvising" that I liked! And with that I mean stuff that's not in the books but are a)fun, b) cute or c) keeps the movie interesting, yet true to the story. Like the apples or broken carrots in LotR. They are what I'd call "improvising" while dragging Sam and Frodo of to Gondor is so stupid and it almost gave me and my dad a heart attack when we saw it. That's a complete re-write of the goddamn book! *is getting agitated just thinking about it* It only robs screen-time that could have been put to better use! If you haven't seen the LotR-trilogy, imagine this; Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. At the end of the movie, Harry Avada Kedavra Voldemorth's ass and turn himself in to the next Dark Lord. Riot, yes? There are some things you just must never do if you are turning a book in to a movie. I remember in 6th grade or something I read "White fang" by Jack London(?) and shortly after we watched the move. My teacher asked if they were a lot alike? And I went "Uh... Sure... There's a wolf-dog in it..." Because that was about it! Not that it bugged me so much then. But I'm getting way of subject. Back to Narnia.
# I loved Aslan! He was GREAT!
# I missed the animals that got a feast meal by Santa and who the witch turned to stone. Edmund felt bad for them. And I wish they'd taken some time to squeeze them in...
I hope I'm not sounding like some whining jerk here, because I did like that movie!

We kidnap and ravage
and don't give a hoot
Drink up, me hearties, yo ho
yo ho, yo ho
A pirate’s life for me
We exfort, we pilfer
we filch, we sack...
We're devils, we're black sheep
we're really bad eggs
Drink up, me hearties, yo ho!
Saw the trailer for "Pirates of the Caribbean 2" when I went to see Narnia! I think they tried to sell-out Jack's name a little bit to much, so I'm guessing it has questionable plot. But the trailer was funny! And I still bloody well will go see it when it will be shown on the cinemas! Yo ho, on you all!
I am sorry if I’ve gotten any names wrong. It’s hard to keep track on what’s everyone/-thing is called and how it’s spelled and sometimes being forced to “translate” it in to English… -.-
That's all (thank god).
I think anyway. 'night!
