The man who entered the building wanted to know if he was on a terrorist watch list. He made no threats, but the authorities didn't take any chances, which is why they investigated the car and arrested him. Precautionary measures.
It's still scary, just on multiple levels now. That someone has to ask about such a thing, that someone can be so seriously misunderstood, that the authorities feel the need to do such a precautionary action, as well as all the other heartstopping stuff that went on...
