hello, friends. sorry for the long hiatus. i'm alive, somewhat, in my training place. i'm actually at work now, doing the 24-hour work shift. monitors are a-bleeping, machines are whirring, and we all are, erm, intensively caring for everyone.
and yes, under pain and threat of de-friending by librarianjessie ,(haha) as well as having a small window of limited Net access, i'm sneaking a few seconds to peek at what i've missed in all my friends' journals. it feels good to hear from voices from home. i really, truly do miss you all...
i will tell more soon, but for now:
1. much as i don't want it to happen, what allison cameron went through is NOTHING compared to what i'm going through. will explain soon, when things get better. just, well, i'm asking for everyone's powerfully good vibes.
2. my apartment is a bare affair of secondhand furniture.... and finally, i have a bed! no sleeping on mattresses without sheets anymore, mommy! no cable, no landline, no internet yet, but i am working on it.
3. the loveliest pockets of joy is pigging out on food and walking around. and discovering that Ethiopian honey wines make librarianjessie yearn for her Octoroon roots.
4. i have been lining up for the Colbert Report standby admission line (para bang chance passenger) for 5 times now... and i have not lucked out. dang. in demand na ang lolo. i consoled myself by watching the Strangers With Candy movie, which proved to be fun, but more watered down than the best drug trip ever that is the TV series.
5. and amyslayer ? you are right. that Jon-in-the-Report and the Stephen-in-the-Daily-Show stunt made my orgasmic slash centers explode.
6. the current work place has a TV with the Emmy awards on it right now. but the volume is on low and i cant really grapple with the remote without revealing my quirks i should quell when on the job (martea_scryer , canst thou relate?).
7. yes, i will post pics when Net access allows (dang corporate prohibition!)... Noli Me Tangere Superman is too good to pass up.
