A fish story
I'm here at DragonCon (and it is a lot of fun!) and I had an interesting run in with an evangelical street preacher. I almost feel bad for the fellow. I was not rude to him, but I'm sure he thought I was. Our conversation was short and consisted of this:
"Are you a Christian?"
"No."
"Can I talk to you for a few minutes?"
"No."
and as I walked away he shouted at my back "What are you?"
I half turned and hailed him back as I walked away with a smile "Pagan."
Like I said, I almost felt bad about the encounter. I know that there are people that feel called to evangelicize, but your right to preach at me ends when I saw I'm not interested. I'm sure he could have been more persistent and followed me, but thankfully he did not, as I would have become irritated at that point.
I guess I'm just the one that got away. lol
