gabo and i got to join siobhan and kevin for dinner, it was lovely, but due to the volume of food available at buffets, we all had problems inhaling. afterwards we watched the forgotton at awesometown, basically the premise can be broken down into this: wizards, robot aliens and self absorbed grief stricken ladies running around in heels. kinda lame and outer limits esque.
i'm super impressed with this new insence. that gift store on whyte, the one that was literally FILLED to the ceiling with ornaments and other collectibles, closed this week. So....that meant a major sale had to happen, pretty much i perused the aisles everyday.
in other news, due to a horribly persistent bout with a flu virus, i spent my time either on the toilet or writhing in bed, however, because of my ailments, i was rewarded with meals in bed and gifts! it was like christmas, only a tad more extravagant. six new books and an i pod mini. i should get sick more often.
i passed the flu on to gabo. i felt it was the only thing i could do. my way of expressing gratitude for taking care of me, some would say a heartfelt thank-you.
i'm really digging pj harvey and nick cave right now.
