Where oh where have the snippets gone?
I know I stopped posting snippets. Mea culpa.
Here's the thing: I am currently cleaning that sucker up for submission and that's taken my focus. Hence the silence. Maybe when I'm done I'll start snipping again. After all, there's always something new to write.
In other news, I have been taking a Scottish dance class which is a lot of fun, if surprisingly hard. I tell people that it's like dancing at the Ren Faire, except they don't teach fair attendees anything this complicated and twisty. I finally got things to stick last night, three weeks in, and got an invitation to join -another- group on Fridays and possibly to dance at the Christmas Ball. We'll see how that goes.
Driving home last night, I got to see the Harvest Moon, which strikes me as both one of the most awesome and most frightening nights. Harvest Moon = the one that looks like it's going to crash into the planet because it's so huge in the sky. When I was small, I honestly did think that would happen. Now I just sort of stare and go ...wow.
Earlier on Twitter, someone posted a link to an article about the a new cover model who's graced a lot of recent books. Have a look. Got to say, he's worlds better than Fabio.
Annnd... I thought I had enough for a five things post, but I guess I'm stuck with four. Phooey.
