So, um, everyone is finally jumping ship to Dreamwidth because of the new Russian ToS? Welp, not that anyone cares, but I've pretty much always been on DW (and of course Tumblr) under the same name, though I've been failing utterly at crossposting manually since the beginning. I only just got onboard with auto-crossposting. But since I've been failing at manually crossposting before now, I'll just point to my last few posts at LJ:
Joshua Henry's
awesome Hamilton remixes with various cast members and on his own.
The Flash/Supergirl musical episode and the Final Four. To wrap up the NCAA Tournament talk, I ended up in the 98th percentile. Not quite as high as last year (98.4%), but ranking 375k out of over 18 million brackets isn't bad.
Following on from the Supergirl/Flash musical ep,
a post about Pasek & Paul, composers of the Barry/Iris song, who have done a lot of other great work, most recently the B'way hit, Dear Evan Hansen.
And following along from the Pasek & Paul post,
a post about Cynthia Erivo, who is amazing, with lots of video.
Also, many years ago, I added my rotating header at LJ, which I love, but I guess I'll finally have to remember how I did it in order to replicate it at DW. Something in the code for my layout. Hopefully, it'll just be a simple copy/paste.
And one thing I will miss about regularly posting at LJ? The option to use any of my
225 userpics. It took me years to curate that gallery of icons and having to narrow it down to 15 is not fun. Curse you, LJ, for making me have to do all this.
My next door neighbor is leaving tomorrow for London to run in the marathon. He likes to do that sort of thing.
I didn't get to watch The Ten Commandments this Easter, so no "Ohhhh, Mohhhhh-sesss," But I did see Ben-Hur again, which is way better. If I had all my userpics over here, I'd post this entry with my Judah/Messala icon, but oh well.
And last, but not least, I NOW HAVE HAMILTON TICKETS. September 19th at the Pantages Theatre, center mezzanine on the aisle, exactly where I wanted. I get to see Joshua Henry's Burr, and I am so excited. Thank you AMEX presale!
