Well, HI! I keep meaning to post, but life gets in the way.
Slowly but surely catching up on Arrow. Still really fun.
Definitely looking forward to
The Flash next season, what with Jesse L. Martin (does this mean Wally and Bart are/will be POCs?) and 90s TV Flash, John Wesley Shipp joining the cast. 90s TV Flash had
a great theme song (seriously, if I didn't use the Superman theme for my mom's ringtone, I'd use that one because she has always loved that tune).
Gotham with Ben MacKenzie (Southland) as Jim Gordon will most likely get a try from me, too.
Rather interested in the
NCIS spin-off with Scott Bakula, Lucas Black and CCH Pounder because I love those three. Can we maybe have some Creoles in a show based in New Orleans for once, though?
Saw my precious bbs on ice (YOUR LOS ANGELES KINGS) two weeks ago. They lost the game, but that was okay because they hardly ever play the Penguins in Staples so it was a real treat to see most of my favorite Pens (not counting Pascal Dupuis, my mom's fav, who has been on LTIR for ages, or Kris Letang who had a stroke that day apparently poor thing, or Marc-Andre Fleury who wasn't going to play a back-to-back, which aww I wanted to see Flower in net). There were tons of Pens fans in the audience--the Pens Fan Couple sitting next to me and the Pens Fan Guy in front of me who was there with his Kings Fan Girl were very nice and funny. It was especially amusing when the Pens Fan Couple next to me started chanting "Go Pens Go" when the score was getting out of hand and the Kings Fan Girl in front of me gave them the Death Glare.
If I had to pick one reason why I wanted to go to a Kings game, seeing/taking a picture of this would be numero uno. Stick always lounges against the boards by the bench at some point during warm-ups, and I always see Carter hanging out there, too. Part of their "routines."
Reason Two of why I wanted to see Kings vs. Penguins. Two more of my very favorites, Geno Malkin and Anze Kopitar. I probably watched them the most during the game.
Jonathan Quick and Willie Mitchell during warm-ups.
QUICKIE!
Robin Regehr.
Derpy Dewey.
Anze KopiSTAR.
OMG IT'S ANZE KOPITAR RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME.
OMG it's Sidney Crosby. He skates really fast u guise.
GUESS WHAT TIME IT IS?! GUESS. WHAT. TIME. IT. IS. OLYMPICS TIEM JEAH! Of course, if you've been following my Tumblr, you already know that I'm a huge fan of everything Olympics (even when it comes down to mundane IMPORTANT things like which NHLers are roomies). Seriously, I love all Olympic sports, summer and winter. And I follow most of them even when it's not an Olympic year, so no fair-weather fan here. FLAWLESS QUEEN MERYL DAVIS AND REAL LIFE DISNEY PRINCE CHARLIE WHITE FOR ALL THE MEDALS!!!!
