Wow, were the Oscars this year forgettable or what? Was it this past Sunday or the Sunday before that? I can't even remember! I can only recall this: Ang Lee, DanRad & JGL dancing adorably (I was ignoring the manchild in the middle), The Avengers superhero boy band reunion, Eddie Redmayne,
Jessica Chastain looking flawless.
The Muses.
The CW resurrects Whose Line Is It Anyway?. Aisha Tyler will moderate now, but they're bringing back Colin, Ryan and Wayne, with one special guest every week. I really hope they ask Greg Proops to be the special guest sometimes because he's hilarious. My aunt knows a lot of comedians, and she says he's one of the funniest people she's ever met.
Thursday has officially become my favorite TV night of the week. That one-two punch of Person of Interest and Elementary is consistently entertaining and fabulous. I love the entire casts of both shows, and I feel so attached to them all. I don't think I've had such a strong emotional reaction to any Holmes and Watson as I have for these two. They hit me right in the FEELS. And I never fail to enjoy how over the course of the series, Reese and Finch have become ReeseandFinch + their pet Bear + Cop BFFs.
Suits is over, and this year I can't say I'm waiting on pins and needles for the next season. I still love Jessica and Louis and Harvey and Donna (I C U VARYS), but I don't feel the same love I used to. Except for Louis, who perhaps I love even more.
So much hockey on every day, I LOVE IT. NBA basketball has been mostly a bore this season, NCAA basketball is just beginning to get interesting what with March Madness around the corner, MLB will be boring for a long while yet, football is over, tennis is in between majors (though it's great to see Rafa back on clay), but just about any hockey game has the potential to become very exciting indeed. Kings are playing better, Ducks are consistently great as are the Blackhawks, I hope Malkin returns to the Penguins soon, and did you hear
Mike Milbury on NBCSN laying into Ovie during the intermission of Wednesday's Caps-Flyers game? Ouch.
Still woefully behind on Justified, Arrow and Southland. :-(
