It's been floating about that THERE IS IN FACT A POST-CREDITS SCENE IN THE AVENGERS, and that it is THIS (MAJOR SPOILERS). So, if you're seeing the movie in the U.S. this week, stay until the VERY END of the credits, not just halfway. I believe this is for the U.S. release only, so if you've already seen the movie in another country, you'll definitely want to click!
Got my tickets to The Avengers for Friday! \o/ Just my mom and I for the first viewing, since Bro has to work and Dad isn't ready to handle standing and walking through big crowds yet. Anyway, as I mentioned in my last post the boys still have to see Iron Man 2, and we've already made plans to see The Avengers together in a few weeks as a family after the crowds go down. We were trying to plan what time to get to the theatre on Friday, I threw out a possible time, and my dad suggested an earlier time, then my mom said we need to get there even earlier than that. Thank you for that, parental units. I was trying not to look too much like a geek, but you are encouraging me.
Speaking of, Scarlett Johansson received her Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (Jeremy Renner was there in support and they are adorable BFFs). Anyone can buy a Star nowadays if they have some money and a new movie coming out, but at least this one makes sense because Scarlett has some cred.

Today, the Dodgers officially took on new ownership. THANK GOD. If I never have to see Frank McCourt's mug again, it will be too soon. I haven't been to a Dodger game since I was a kid, but Magic Johnson is making me want to go to another one.
