Summon the Cavillry, it's Superman!
I'm sure everyone knows about the casting of the new Superman. Well, I thought he deserved a picspam!
So, I've been a fan of Henry Cavill's since 2002. Leaving the theatre having just seen The Count of Monte Cristo, the first thought in my mind was, "Who was that lovely young man playing Albert?" I was still pretty new to the whole online fandom thing, so I looked him up, found out he liked In-N-Out, somehow stumbled upon his e-mail address and e-mailed him LIKE AN IDIOT. Thank goodness he didn't respond. I hope he just deleted it as spam. That was the first and last time I ever contacted any celebrity I'd never met before.
Anyway, long story short, he's been my first choice to play Superman for the past few years. The only reservation I had was whether he could take on a believable American accent. If it passed the producers, director and casting people's standards, it must be okay, so yay!
