In the Parade Magazine included in my Sunday paper, there is a section asking people about Fourth of July memories. Matthew Settle (♥SPEIRS♥) had this to share: “As a kid, I’d get the flag out and hang it on the front of the house. There were flags all over the neighborhood. My parents were ministers, and at the church we’d dress up as our favorite American hero. My mom would make me little colonial outfits. I was Nathan Hale, then an astronaut and, of course, a cowboy.”

A lot of people have been linking to this, but just in case you missed it: This is Why I'll Never Be An Adult. I LOLed so hard. sophiaviolet made icons altering "Clean ALL the Things!" to "Fight ALL the Oppressions!"

Ahhhhhhh, now I'm happy. Rafa and Serena were my last hopes to win at Wimbledon, and they did. \o/

I was hoping for more of an exciting match between Argentina and Germany, but Germany really showed how awesome a team they are. Germany-Spain is going to be an incredible match-up. I don't know about you, but I'm rooting for the Netherlands to beat Uruguay. Suarez's handball totally cost Ghana that goal and thus their win.

Her Universe has a collection of Star Wars apparel cut specifically for women. They will also be selling jewelry soon.

Facebook has rejected author Owl Goingback's request to join the site for two years because they aren't convinced that's his real name. He's Native American.

New Muppet video! The Swedish Chef makes popcorn shrimp! After I watched that, I had to watch their "Bohemian Rhapsody" again (hey, it's got another one of my favorite Muppets: the Boomerang Fish guy).

Haven't talked about Burn Notice in awhile. I've just been watching and enjoying while worrying about Jesse finding out that Michael unintentionally burned him. Navi Rawat has been around for the past few episodes, and I bet she's having lots of fun playing a killer. I think it's good for her to branch out. I knew Fi wouldn't take kindly to the flirting+threats between Michael and "Kendra." I loved the little reference to Michael snapping his fingers and making things happen in "Friendly Fire."

Also loved all the Mike&Sam in last week's episode, too.

Royal Pains goes to Puerto Rico Cuba! Yup, Puerto Rico was playing Cuba in these last two episodes. My favorite thing about these two episodes actually had nothing to do with Hank, Evan & Boris' adventures in Cuba, but rather the growing friendship between Divya and Jill! I love that Divya and Jill are getting closer, and that even though their connection to Hank was the reason they became better acquainted, they're determined that he won't be the reason they're friends.

OMG GO AWAY DR PECK. If they want to give us an antagonistic doctor, I'd rather have more of Marcia Gay Harden's character. I really hope Dr Peck comes around and grows even half a heart or shows any sort of redeeming characteristics or I will continue to dislike her as much as I disliked Charlie.

Nice to see Ana de la Reguera again. She looked familiar, but I wasn't able to place her until my brother was passing the room and said, "Hey, it's the nun from Nacho Libre!" She's going to play Sam Rockwell's wife in the upcoming Cowboys & Aliens, which is going to be filled to the brim with awesome people.

Oh wow, I had no idea that the actress playing Dr. Caseras came in second place in the Miss Universe pageant! She was Miss Columbia.

Evan even had a bit of a bromance with Oscar! I wouldn't have minded more of the Adventures of Evan & Oscar. ;-P

burn notice, star wars, cowboys&aliens, royal pains, sports, muppets, band of brothers
