This is an Iron Man 2 post.

I FINALLY SAW IRON MAN 2 YOU GUYS.

RDJ says, "Come hither..."

After hearing everyone complaining about this and that, I had lowered my expectations, but it turns out I didn't really need to because I thought it was ~COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY AWESOME~.

Was it perfect? No. But do I have any complaints? No! (Okay, maybe NEEDS MOAR JARVIS) In fact, I enjoyed it just as much as I did the first one. So, since I bought the first one on DVD, I think I'll have buy this one, too. Good times, noodle salad!

O HAI NEW RHODEY! I love Don Cheadle, so I love his Rhodey.

Actually, I can more easily buy him as being a friend and peer to Pepper as well as Tony.

Poor Tony. It was sad to see him in pain and being a drunken mess fighting with Rhodey.

BUT OMG WAR MACHINE.

I didn't mind the Tony/Pepper. I'm pretty much neither here nor there about that pairing.

Hammer (and his spray-tanned hands) was such a loser, and Sam Rockwell played him to perfection.

Ordering Italian food especially from...San Francisco.

And his pride and joy was a piece of junk. Also, ICU Tim Guinee! Is there anything you're not in?

Mickey Rourke was...Mickey Rourke. He even got to keep his own beads as a prop and use his own reading glasses!

Good job beating up that bad guy (singular) and running into Vanko multiple times, Happy!

Natasha/Natalie kicked butt. She wasn't a scene-stealer (Scarlett doesn't have enough charisma for that), but I think that was kind of a good thing. I liked her understated competency, her clothes, and I ship her with Pepper.

Scarlett apparently wants her own Black Widow franchise.

Weeellll, I don't think she can carry a franchise, but I wouldn't mind seeing her in the proposed SHIELD movie, infiltrating things, kicking butt and taking names with Agent Coulson and whoever else they're planning to bring in. Don't forget your mace!

I really liked the quieter moments in this movie. You can't blow things up 24-7, after all.

Nick Fury is laughing at you, not with you.

Oh! Oh! Oh! My favorite part was definitely the development sequence. I love it when Tony gets his hands dirty and makes something awesome. This time with help from Daddy John Slattery from beyond the grave. ;-) Though I'm sure Cap won't appreciate his shield being used as a leveler.

I was also left with such a craving for Randy's Donuts. I haven't been there in ages.

No one else in my theatre stayed until the end of the credits! :-O Have they never seen a Marvel film before? I actually already saw the Easter egg on YouTube, but still...

THOR! \o/ I AM EXCITE! EVEN MY MOM SAID, "OMG, I AM SO EXCITED FOR MY THOR!"

In conclusion:

Much love to RDJ. ♥
