A new addition to the pilot for Hawaii Five-O.

Interview with Jeff Bridges about Tron Legacy.

Icons from Mulan and Star Wars concept art.

coc_m_madness. Why did I not know about this?! ::VOTES EARLY AND OFTEN::

Watched the first part of The Pacific again, so a few random thoughts.

First, the opening credits are gorgeous as is the main theme.

Ahaaaa, I thought I recognized Eugene Sledge's brother. It's Detective Cole from The Unusuals!

Aww, Gene & Sid!

Most anti-climactic landing EVAR. ::laughs::

"They poisoned a billion coconuts?"

The graphics for the battle at sea and the landing were fabulous!

How lame was it that the company's big-talking CO became Foxhole Norman right in the middle of THEIR FIRST ENGAGEMENT?

Also, the guys toying with the Japanese soldier instead of either taking him prisoner or killing him was very upsetting to watch, but I know crap like that happened, so at least they're not pretending it didn't.

Runner: Will you be my date?
Leckie: You are ugly. I want Hoosier.
Hoosier: Take a number.

DVRed Justified for tomorrow (with no Psych, I'll be needing something new to watch), but I did catch four minutes near the beginning of the pilot.

O HAI MATT CRAVEN! :-D

The reason I took a pass on Justified this evening was because I had to watch Southland again.

BECAUSE HOLY CRAP THE LAST TEN MINUTES OF THIS EPISODE HAD ME CLUTCHING MY BLANKET TRYING NOT TO EMBARRASS MYSELF FROM SQUEE. I...JUST...::FLAILS:: THIS. SHOW.

First, I totally gasped aloud when Lydia shot Russell in her dream.

Cooper (to Sherman): Be safe out there. Smart. Remember your training. Hands. Watch the hands.
Sherman (smiling): Okay, Dad.
LITTLE BABY ALL GROWS UP AND CAN RIDE AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD WITHOUT HIS TRAINING WHEELS.

LOL @ the other cops replacing Cordero's head in his celebrity pictures with Ricky Martin's head, then Lydia doing it with Sarah Palin's. He hasn't done anything to exactly endear him to the station, so haha. Cordero kept giving a pouty face whenever Lydia called Russell her partner.

No, Chickie, you are not Serpico. But I can see how being partnered to Dewey can do a number on your head. RAWR Cooper taking Chickie to task for losing her touch. Did you notice how Chickie's hair got more disheveled as the day went on? I hope she gets her groove back soon.

I'm really glad we get to see Brianna and Jimmy again! I was wondering about them. I just hope Brianna doesn't flake out and they have to take Jimmy from her. I still don't complete trust her to take care of him, but I hope she gets herself together. :-\

Adams: I'm not pregnant. I run 6 miles a day. Do I look fat to you?
Oh, Lydia.

That chef guy should have known better than to get up in Sherman's face and be stupid. That look on Ben's face meant business.

I would like to see more of Officer Kim in the future, please thank you. :-D I love the various structures the kids in Jane's classroom made. Jane's mother thinks Sherman has kind eyes and I agree. :-D At least she didn't stray too far. Koreatown isn't too far from the Nokia Theatre. I lived in Koreatown for a few years when I was really young.

AND THE TWO COOPER/SHERMAN SCENES AT THE END OMG. Cooper following Sherman out of the station to give him a chance to talk if he wants to, Sherman telling Cooper he's not sure where the lines are, and Cooper reminding him that the lines are blurred. Then because those dangling shoes had been bothering him all day, Sherman calls Cooper to meet him there (WHICH I LOVE), Cooper shares his own experience of losing someone he tried to save and even called his fireman buddies to retrieve those shoes for Sherman. All while looking awesome in their civvies. ♥
