So, last month there was the 7.0 earthquake in Haiti. Yesterday afternoon, there was a 7.0 earthquake off Okinawa. And just a little while ago, there was an 8.8 earthquake off the coast of southern Chile. :-( As a Californian, there isn't usually much point in worrying about when an earthquake may occur since they're unpredictable, but these trends are not reassuring.
