NCIS CASTING NEWS OMG.
I'm sure everyone knows the news already, but what kind of fan would I be if I didn't also post that Southland will start airing on TNT on January 12th at 10pm! \o/ Here's what the Turner people had to say about it. Now it's up to those with Nielson boxes and DVRs to WATCH THE SHOW when it airs to encourage TNT to order more episodes. I don't have a Nielson box or a DVR or TIVO thingy, but I'll be watching just the same.

Full versions of two upcoming songs from Glee.
Not crazy about the interlude in the middle of "Dancing with Myself." I'm sure it fits with the episode and Artie's character, but the song isn't the best showcase for Kevin's awesome voice. Also, while I adore "Defying Gravity," I was hoping for more of a duet, especially during the chorus, rather than Lea with Chris doing back-up. But I do understand that Lea's voice is just so strong, she'll overpower anyone without meaning to, and what we do hear of Chris is beautiful. So, while that I can forgive, I was really hoping for the big finish to be Idina-style. Even Shoshana Bean and Kerry Ellis ended the song in a similar fashion. Unfortunately, they went with Eden Espinosa's finish, which I've always hated. :-( I mean, I hate it as much as the random insert of "I love you, Miss Dorothy" in "I Turned the Corner/I'm Falling in Love with Someone" from Thoroughly Modern Millie (taking that song from the sublime to the ridiculous in three seconds flat), which is to say A LOT.
