New categories for the TWP's Tubey Awards are being posted each week. There are a few familiar nominations in the Worst Romantic Relationship category: Grissom/Sara and McKay/Keller. Ouch. I can't even decide which one I want to vote for in Most Painful Series Cancellation. I will miss so many of them. :-(

Christian Bale geeks out with Darth Maul at Disneyland. No lie.

ZOMG  John Cho picspam. That picspam is only missing this picture of John pointing his gun and looking awesome with Joseph Fiennes in Flash Forward (scroll down to the comments).

Discworld news! David Suchet, Richard Coyle and Charles Dance will star in Going Postal, set to air on Sky next year.

Director of the original Blade, Stephen Norrington, is reuniting with Stephen Dorff to make a prequel trilogy about Deacon Frost. Huh.

Former figure skater Nicole Bobek pleads not guilty to drug conspiracy charges. She was allegedly involved in a meth ring. Eek.

strongstuff@DA has some very neat retro stylized posters for various comics, films (classic horror, Transformers, Star Wars), and random characters like The Tick, Shaun (of the Dead), Speed Racer, Captain Kirk, and The Comedian.

Today (well, yesterday now) was Bob Roll's birthday, and we got to see some old footage of him riding in the Tour. Ha, that hair! And my mom says she saw someone along the course dressed sort of like a bumblebee. Aww. I'd like to see someone dressed as a Valkyrie again. That was hilarious and sorta awesome. I can definitely do without someone dressed as Borat, however. There sure has been a lot of falling down in these beginning stages. I hesitate to say 'crash' because in many cases it's just riders losing control of their bike and going down. :-\

Godspell aired on the Gospel Music Channel (a station I didn't even realize we had ::laughs::), and while watching it I realized how many of the actors have passed before their time. I mean, Lynn Thigpen passed away years ago, and it was such a shock. Well, Victor Garber had better live forever. I can't wait for his guest appearance on Glee next season!

The Michael Jackson memorial was well-done. I really like John Mayer's instrumental rendition of "Human Nature." After the memorial, we could hear all the helicopters following the Jackson family as they made their way from Staples Center to Beverly Hills. Hey look, it's Captain EO [Parts 12]! My brother and I loved the old Captain EO show at Disneyland. We even bought light-up Captain EO visors, though now neither of us can remember where we stored them.
