New
Star Trek: The Next Generation successories by
swmance. Love the Picard/Q ones.
I'm really looking forward to seeing the entries to the
McShep Happyfic Challenge, hosted by
unamaga and
chopchica!
velocitygrass has a
McShep-ish review of SGA 5x04-5x06 (mainly "The Shrine").
You know what's a really random movie?
Fido, a comedy about a boy and his dog zombie, with Carrie-Anne Moss, Dylan Baker, Tim Blake Nelson, and Billy Connolly as the zombie named Fido.
I love how everyone's going crazy after finding out that
Jared and Jensen of SPN live together.
HBP promos wherein
Harry and Draco have a stare-down. Draco looks like he's thinking: why did I never notice Potter had such long eyelashes?
I don't know how reliable this source is, but really hope this
Doctor Who news [spoilers] turns out to be true.
Roger Federer wins the US Open!!! Here are some
highlights of the last set. I love how positively giddy he is right at the end of that clip. And I'm also very happy Serena Williams won the ladies title. Is that Jankovic a ham or what? She kept looking at herself on the jumbotron between points, and is it really necessary to hold onto the mic when someone else is holding it for you?
gd_alfredlucius for all your Alfred Pennyworth/Lucius Fox needs.

Jack and Sam from SG-1 (at the end of the post)! They're cartoony and so cute.
Wired has a list of
10 Geeky Movies to Raise Your Kids On. Yay, The Last Starfighter! In some ways I like Time Bandits a lot, but in other ways I really dislike it. I do love 's line, "Fruit! I must have fruit!" because it's soooo random. Star Wars and The Goonies are also musts.
AWW MAN. I totally missed out on an
incredible screening of Iron Man with Jon Favreau and (surprise guest) RDJ in attendance DOING RUNNING COMMENTARY. Within that link are some clips of their Q&A after the screening. And apparently during the film, RDJ would sometimes comment in his Kirk Lazarus/Osiris persona, and both RDJ and Favreau poked fun at their own film's plot holes! You know, I heard about this screening last week, but thought it wouldn't be worth the hassle to go out to Santa Monica on a Saturday night just to see Jon Favreau. It just figures RDJ would decide to show up. :-\
Has the Large Hadron Collider destroyed the earth yet? (right-click and view the source code, too) But make sure to check back
tomorrow, just in case. ;-)
The Rich Text Editor is acting hinky when I try to add LJ usernames. But then the HTML editor tends to mess up my LJ-cuts. As a result, for the moment my entries can have either LJ usernames or LJ-cuts, but not both. So, you'll get my thoughts on Sarah Connor Chronicles and Prison Break in another entry later, after I attempt to watch Fringe. I've only ever seen Joshua Jackson dealing cards in the wrong direction in Ocean's Eleven (Dawson's Creek was Not My Thing), so we'll see how that goes.
