Did anyone find it amusing how annoyed Anderson Cooper was with having to cover the Paris Hilton story last night?
So apparently Joss Whedon showed up to the Once More, With Feeling screening last night. Shoulda gone. ::sigh::
Well, it may have had its ups and downs, but in the end, I am going to miss Studio 60. And thank you, Sorkin, for our last Matt and Danny moment...
Danny: Don't take this the wrong way, but I love you. (pause) Did you take it the wrong way?
Matt: I took it to mean you're gay, and you want me.
Danny: Good.
Matt: I love you, too.
Danny: Okay.
Jack, I love you. Tom, I love you. Matt and Danny, you are made for each other. Harriet, WHATEVER. Was she useless or what? I will NEVER understand why Sorkin thought they were a couple worth following and rooting for. Danny and Jordan, on the other hand, were very cute. My mom predicted that Jordan was going to kick the bucket, and I wouldn't have minded much either way, but it would have gotten my goat if Matt got together (again) with Harriet but then Danny was left alone, so she can live. ;-) Unfortunately since there was so much attention on Jordan with Danny, and Tom's brother, and Harriet with Matt, we didn't get nearly enough Cal in the last episode. :-( It was a total fairytale ending and things were wrapped up entirely to easily and quickly. But really, for me, as long as Matt and Danny are as close as they've ever been, I'll take it.
At least I have a summer replacement in Burn Notice. People, you need to be watching this show. It has BRUCE CAMPBELL! And I've counted two people from Dexter guest starring, so far. It's fun and funny and interesting.
Me: I want to go fishing.
Dad [like it was the plan all along]: We're going in July.
Me: Oh. Okay.
We haven't gone fishing in years, and I really want to go back to Piru (where they filmed the lake parts in "Gum Drops"), but the most fun place to fish is too difficult for us to get to now considering my dad recent knee problems. :-( It was awesome because only the hardcore fishers knew about it, and you had to park off the side of the road, then hike through the hills a bit, then climb down these rocks to get there. Which reminds me, I have to dust off the rods and see if they're still in good condition. ::is excited::
