SQUEEEE!
So I've been working on a grant proposal for the Vice President of Development here at the Library. I just got the latest revision back and apparently she REALLY liked it. She said that it was VERY well done (with inflection on "VERY," the kind that not only emphasizes but also conveys candidness) and that she was sad that I was leaving because she'd like to keep me on board for stuff like this. So I said "Well, I've only got one more year..." and she said "Maybe something'll open up then."
I'm sorry, I know I've said shit about people saying that I should apply for a job here, but this is coming from the VICE PRESIDENT of Development. OMG I've been working this entire summer just to hear those words come out from a mouth like hers.
