Wondering, thinking, lost in thought.
Here’s the deal, guys:
I have a friend who’s raising money for someone who needs it big time. If I had money to commission her, I would do it in a heartbeat. But alas, I won’t have any extra money until two weeks from now - hence why I’m going to open my own fic commission offer to help her out with raising money, so I don’t feel completely useless. I mean, I know how stupid I must look doing a fic commission, but writing is the only thing I have to offer. I have no idea how many of you would be willing to participate, but if you did - well, you’d have my eternal gratitude, not mention my friend’s and my friend’s friend’s. So, if I haven’t lost you yet, I’ll explain how it works?
If you’d be willing to pay within a 5-15 dollar price range, I would offer up a 5-9 paged one-shot (approximately 5000 or more words) from any fandom I know - or if you want an original for some crazy reason, we can work that out as well. Also, if I’m uncomfortable with something you’ve requested or end up not knowing what to do to make it work in the slightest … I will let you know at once.
AU, general, etc. - any genre, minus smut: $5
Plot with implications of smut - any genre is fine: $10 (only because I don’t often write smut, so~)
PWP, non-con, bdsm, full-out smut, etc: $15
I would try to get them out as fast as possible - but real life takes precedent, along with all the other stuff I have to keep up with, so there’s no guaranteed time-line for when you’ll receive your fic - but I’d try to get it out within two weeks of receiving the payment. Just to make it clear, though: this money is not for me, I will not be keeping it. It will be sent directly to the person who needed it in the first place. The only reason it’s going to me first is so I know who’s paid already and can keep track of things easier. On that note, regardless of where you are in the line-up, once I receive the payment … you’ll take first priority commission-wise!

Not that I’m expecting an over-load of requests, because … yeah, this is probably the most stupid thing I’ve ever done. But I’m not going to sit back and watch my friend struggle to come up with the money to help someone out. I just … can’t. So, if you’re interested, we’ll work out the payment details privately (snail-mail is probably the best bet, though? At least if you’re within the US or Canada. Or Paypal is fine, but you’ll have to send it directly to my friend - instead of me, since I don’t have an account or anything there.)

Or would you be okay with me posting it up on my lj, so you could read it immediately? (You’d also have my permission to print it out since it’s your one-shot, anyway.)
