“Ya gave her the fuckin’ thing after I said no.” Kenpachi growled low in his throat. “What part of ‘no’ don’t ya fuckin’ understand?”
Yumichika, bored, looked up from his inspection of his nails. No imperfections had been found, after all. “I don’t see the problem here. She’s happy, isn’t she?”
“Fuckin’ hell!” The captain’s hand slammed into the wall right beside Yumichika’s head, knocking a hole in the brittle plaster. He had missed on purpose, of course. “Ya don’t give her sweets when I say not ta do it!”
If he hadn’t been in the eleventh division for as long as he had, Yumichika almost would have felt threatened, a most unbecoming emotion. “And why, pray tell, is that?”
“Yachiru!” ground out Kenpachi furiously. “Get yer ass in here!”
Giggling was heard and then a pink haired girl bounced her way into the room through the open door. “Yeah, Ken-chan? What’cha want?”
“Turn around,” Kenpachi instructed, blazing eyes never straying far from Yumichika’s feathered visage. “Take a fuckin’ good look, pretty boy.”
“ … Oh.” There, stuck in the girl’s short hair, was the lollipop he had given her earlier. “ … I can fix that.”
“Ya better.” The threat was clear. “Consequences ain’t pretty around here, pretty boy.”
