You take things too seriously. EVERYONE does stupid things. You are not immune. Don't feel embarrassed about being a kid once. We all did it. EVERYONE was an emo sheep when they are 12, it is part of growing up. Delete it or not, that is your prerogative, but there is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.
Omisha is right, most likely no one will read it anyway... The question I ponder is, who are you trying to impress? :P We all love you to this day, and anyone that would judge you on how you acted 6 or so years ago is just being harsh.
As for the journal, the one thing I have always stuck with is this: Don't post ANYTHING that you wouldn't say to people if they were standing RIGHT THERE. The best internet rule in history. Of course that would vary depending on who you are, but it is important not to compromise that comfort level for your sake, and for your friends. For the most part I see you doing that, if you are concerned make a point of not posting while you feel emotional at all.
