That's basically it though, I have no other reason for making this entry other than it being FREAKING HOT outside.
And that's when you go, "But *BEEP*, it's summer silly, of course it's going to be hot." and do an annoying little hand wave at me as if dismissing everything that I've ever believed in my entire life.
No, no it isn't just because it's summer; I can tell that much, though that season lasts a lot longer around here than in most places.
Maybe I have no right to complain; I'm sure there are plenty of other places that are tons more hotter and I should be used to living in this place already, have been for the largest part of my life.
But, that doesn't stop it from being overly hot, easily hitting over 100F already and only going to get hotter. Seriously, HOTTER.
It wouldn't be that bad if I spent all of my time during these hot times locked away in my house, hissing at the very idea of stepping out and having the sun glare at me freely. Unfortunately, I have both school and work to do, all of which have me come in contact with the outside world, therefore leaving my safe cool haven and venturing unto the hellish abyss that is the average day over here. Doesn't help either that I'm allergic to sunscreen lotion, possible the most stupidest allergy to have in a place that is sunny almost all of the time. At least I'm moderately dark-skinned, but like that will protect me from all the nightmares that can exist due to the unrelenting rays of that bitch in space.
Man, I'm really looking forward to skin cancer :D !!!!
I love this place, truly, but damn if I don't hate it with every fiber that rests in my little [but still about the average height for a female in the US] body during the months of, starting around late March till...about November.
