Ah, I don't know if I'll write more on this, though it's open to it. Fred's comments in Aspiring To Equilibrium and On The Up and Up imply that at least he is fine with George's same-sex relationship. I suppose I could delve into the different family members' reactions to George's sexuality, but I kind of liked highlighting that moment when things suddenly shifted, and when George realised that his private life wasn't nearly as private as he'd thought.

Well, that's good. I know it has that 'unfinished', 'fade to black' feel, but that's kind of what I was going for. :)

I can just imagine it breaking down like that - as mums everywhere say, "it's all good fun until someone loses an eye". I love how Lee is so gentle and accepting and welcoming, even if we don't see him much. I love how George is pushing through the pain, and you can see that.

Very much. It's a joke, until it's not. And I think, were things not so stressful with Fred, even with his sexuality being an issue, George could have found a way to laugh and deflect, or even lied outright, but he's just too damn tired to bother.

Yeah, it's very George-centric, this one. Lee's sort of this warm, supportive presence rather than an actual character, and I think that works, in a way, because right at that time, their relationship wasn't based around talking, it was based around sex. They weren't talking about anything deep besides Fred, because talking about it would make it an issue that had to be dealt with, nailed down, and labelled. The incident at the Burrow has forced that talking to begin, because for once, the issue that has driven George to Lee isn't Fred; it's their relationship.

He really is trying to be strong for the both of them, and his relationship with Lee is his pressure release valve. He would have broken down completely months ago, were it not for him.

Charlie can't help being an arsewipe; he was born that way. He's so lovable that people forgive him, though usually after taking a couple of swings at him first. He'll let them land a few if he knows he deserves it. :)

And yes, orally fixated Ron strikes again!

Ah, but from thereon in would be a different kind of story altogether. This piece charts from when they start having sex up to the point where they have to acknowledge that it's more than just comfort; the point where they have to sit down and talk about it. It was one thing to be shagging when nobody else knew about it, but George's family have joined the dots and worked out he's seeing someone, and Bill, at least, just figured out that that someone is male, not female. After several months of not thinking too deeply about it, they suddenly have to work out what their relationship is, and how George is going to manage telling his family. :)

You are wonderful.

This is perfect, and fits perfectly into this little verse. You are a big meanie with the 'fade to black' ending though! :P

The Weasley's were all perfect, especially Charlie and Brill! ♥

Sorry! It's just the way it wrote itself.

I'm glad you liked my Weasleys, though! I sort of wrote this at the last minute, so I wasn't sure they were as good as they could be, although I loved the dialogue.
