LOL! I've never seen Quantum Leap.

I'm not the first to give Harry a bit of white hair - matildabishop made some of his hair go white in Proxy, supposedly as a result of the shock and stress of grieving for Sirius.

Remus is lovely. If anyone knows what it's like being weak and unable to do things, it's him, so he's being very matter-of-fact about it, and trying to be sensitive to Harry's needs. There's no point in being 'nice' and letting Harry try and get in himself, if he's not strong enough and falls.
