Alive Potters, Twin Harry, Snarry endgame.
Hello all!
I hope someone can help me find a story. I read it a while ago (2+ years, at least), but I remember several things that should help distinguish this tale from others.
1. The Potters are alive. Lilly, James, and at least a twin brother to Harry.
2. It is a blessing of Magic to have magical twins and women who have given birth to twins is "big deal." In this story, James was looked to be a fool to marry the muggle born, Lilly, until she birthed the twins.
3. For some reason (I don't remember why) Harry was sent away from the Potters and was raised elsewhere (orphanage? or Dursleys?). Going with the blessing of twins, this is seen as the Potters being fools, a refusal of the blessing of Magic. Because the Potters sent Harry (a magical twin) away, their social standing takes a dive.
4. Harry does really well for himself (apprenticeship? grades?) and is chosen for some great honor/award. The celebration is where the Potters are shown to not have much social capital.
5. I'm pretty sure that when Snape and Harry get together there is some form of courting done, cumulating in bonding/marriage.
6. Possible scenario: Voldemort was not defeated, never went the Dark Lord route, stayed with the political battlefield????
I hope this is enough to jog someone's memory. I would love to read this fic again.
