It's the
elephant in the middle of the room, the
800-pound gorilla, the surgeon's scalpel.
It's that little thing is but we sure wish wasn't.
As unpopular as it is, the actual truth needs to be told more often than it is. American culture (such as it is) is too like to shrink from the ugly truth, to soft-sell, to back-pedal.
Telling the truth is, more often than not, an act of revolution.
