fffffff okay I'm going to try this, I'm sure it'll be mostly incoherent oh my god.

First. Thing's. First.

BLURR, WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO YOU?!

They killed him, oh my god, they killed Blurr and then threw him away as garbage. Seriously, I could not believe, oh god. It hurts to think about. He was squished into a little tiny cube. fffffuck gonna cry.

Second and most important thing is second: RATCHET

GUESS. WHAT. GUESS THE FUCK WHAT. GUESS WHO WAS AWESOME. GUESS WHO GOT MORE NEEDED BACKSTORY. GUESS WHO GOT AN AMAZING STORY.

That isn't to say nobody else did. But you know how deep my love for the grumpybot goes.

BTW I really ought to be more active in Bellum, even though it keeps pseudo-dying on us. I need to start plot to bring Omega in since I've had him, um, too long without doing anything now.

Also I want to take up my TFA!Ratch again somewhere. Maybe I'll have to go hang back out at the dressing room again.

But. God. God. I don't know where to start for this whole entire thing. Okay, let me just start with Ratchet, then. We got to see him doubt himself. We got to see him grr and whine about being obsolete compared to the Key. That makes me insane happy, since that's what we've been saying all along. And now the Key's gone, so we can have Ratch be our medibot more often all the time now. Gives him more to do, feel less useless. No more quick fixes; they need to learn to deal with the fact that it'll take time to heal up now. I think they need that. It probably gives the others more of a sense of mortality. Now that the Key's gone, if they're offline, they're offline.

Like Blurr.

gods damn it

We got to see what he had to do with Arcee afterward and how difficult that was for him. (Hell, we simply got to see Arcee again! And it was uber-creepy.) It made me oh so happy that we found out what those access codes were and that we now know how Ratchet got involved with Omega and how he came to be his freaking lifeline. It all connects. Everything with Ratchet leads back to something or someone else. Memories. Y'know how that goes. Him being that image of wisdom, age, and power over the mind and protector of memories. I've been over all that before, I believe. (But also how cool would it've been if Arcee HAD been Omega's mentor?)

HE WAS SHAKING DAMN IT. I love him. I love how he hated to use the EMP generator but had to. Twice. Once on Omega (even if it didn't work). How hard must that have been? Beyond hard. Beyond everything. As Prowl pointed out, he hasn't brought it out or used it since he got it back from Lockdown. Besides letting Prowl use it, and, well, we remember how that went.

I love how much he just gives a damn about his family, like Sari, like Bee, like Omega, like Arcee. I love how even though he's possibly the most competent and level-headed member of the team, he's got so many deep-rooted insecurities. He's such a 3D character.

Unlike Bee, who is the same as fucking always, and I dislike him more and more with every episode. I don't hate him. Yet. But there's nothing to him.

I have to point out the one scene, though. How difficult must it be to be him. Oh Ratchet. After the final battle, the battle to end the war, trudging through the devastated battlefield, surrounded by offline bodies and broken ground and rubble, one of the only living things in a place of the dead. Just to find his student, his friend, dying. How hard to put him in stasis. Almost death. Almost as dead as everything else. And for Omega to realize that he was simply a weapon, made to be one and not meant to be a person, and oh my god, if robots could cry, he would've been, I'm sure.

Just. God. Need a minute here.

On that note, OMEGA SUPREMELY AWESOME, who I will love, forever. I'm not sure what more I can say about him. Clearly they can't have him warping around at random forever, because he's too awesome, and also because they wouldn't get rid of Starscream like that, either.

But, y'know, fuck Screamy, I want my 'mega. I did in fact think it was awesomely funtastic when Screamy took over. XD I didn't see it coming.

BTW WHY DOES OMEGA'S MIND OR WHATEVER LOOK LIKE A SCENE STRAIGHT OUT OF TRON? I lulzed forever.

I loved the entire introduction to Omega. I loved Ratchet's reluctance but being the only one who can. (That happens to him a lot, have you noticed? There's always something only he is able to do but has to be forced to do so because it's something horrible or something he just isn't comfortable with.) And NONE of it is comfortable with Omega. Just as Ultra Magnus said, he was created to be a WMD. They didn't want to give him too much personality or info or free will to realize this. They did it because they had to, even if it didn't make sense. Well, it made sense, it just didn't feel right, even if it was the only way. I love Omega forever and a half. Forever and three quarters. Forever times forever.

I simply adore how this show is not afraid to take us to dark, morally grey places and ask extremely difficult questions for which there is no right answer. You don't ever expect that for a show aimed at pre-teen boys. But, just like "Thrill of the Hunt", they can create something dark and intense with few jokes ever cracked and still manage to make it a kid-appropriate cartoon. It appeals to all ages. As we can clearly see by the fandom.

That takes skill, yo.

Why is this show ending, again?

Okay, I have to get into Sari. Because she's fem!Metabee, I swear to god.

I never liked Sari except, like Bee, for comedy relief. I never felt anything for her when she was indignant and demanded to go along with the others. But she was also forgivable because she was so young. So everything about her was simply just acceptable. Now she's an uber death machine.

Bzuh?

Clearly it was not enough to make her a robot. An organic-mechanical part-Cybertronian. Kind of like Blackarachnia. Who was conspicuously missing from this episode. Bah, she'll be back. A protoform. Haaa. But, um. They never answered how it made its way to Sumdac's lab. I don't know how to feel about all that. It just seems silly, really. That a protoform (seriously!) from Cybertron is liquid metal sort of and he imprinted on her, therefore organic-mechanic little girl.

But clearly that's not enough, oh no. We have to let her absorb all of the Key's power (and, c'mon, it's about time we got rid of that Key, especially since we aren't doing the 'gotta catch all the Allspark fragments' story now) and go on a crazy rampage that destroys everything and literally her every step causes an explosion.

I mean, now that Ratchet's fixed her up, she should be good. Unless we can unleash the beast. So at any point should we need a replacement for Omega, we can just pop out Sari's internal restraints and make her Rocks Fall Everyone Dies on everything.

Yeah, I don't see any problem with that at all. */sarcasm*

...Seriously, tho, I saw her and went SHE'S A MEDABOT WUUUUT.

I did love that moment between her and Bee when she stabbed him. It was very reminiscent of moments that happen like that in anime. And I honestly thought they had killed him (and were planning on resurrecting him somehow, of course). I was like...going crazy about it. So maybe I should feel bad when I was disappointed he was actually still barely alive. XD

And the Bee transwarping everywhere. It was...different. I do love me some Bulkhead sometimes. He's so underappreciated in the fandom.

BTW SPEAKING OF BEE! Loved Ratchet's "what are ya gonna do, arrest me?" line like Straya. XD But yay, I'm so happy he upgraded Bee in a way that HIS FIGHTING IS ACTUALLY GOING TO BE EFFECTIVE ON PEOPLE NOW. Presumably. Since Bee's stingers have always been a joke that they don't hurt anyone but Swindle. (God, they better bring Swindle back.)

OP cracked me up with the Burger Bot bit. I kept dying. He's such a loser sometimes. Also, truck with arms. That was lulzy.

MASTERSON'S A N00000000B~~~~ AND THE TRANSFORMING THING WAS GENIUS. And thank god for no more Powell.

NEW PEOPLE! OKAY. Strika's accent makes me laugh. I don't know what to think about her, but I like the fact that she seems to be the leader of that particular little group. Spittor's form...um...a weird-ass bipedal frog thing? With tentacles that shoot out of his mouth. I don't know. At first I thought Cyclonus was a Screamyclone. O.o But then it's like BUNNYEARS OH MY GOD~~~ Why does Blackout have to be a moron? :\ Poor Blackout. OIL SLLLIIICK~ and I was SO EXCITED ABOUT THE COSMIC RUST just because HELLO COMICS (and oh my god if Ratch and Slick run into each other, you KNOW that'll be epic).

I approve of the new good guys' voices. Hell, even Ironhide's voice has taken a sharp turn towards awesome (instead of the hurr hurr fail it was before). I'm sure I can quickly get used to Red Alert's looks; she wasn't too disconcerting. (And if I can get used to Strika, well.) BRAAAAAWN. And, um, that guy with the weird colours. What's his name again? Hot Shot? I guess that's him. Fire, whee~, and lulz leg.

EXCEPT FOR PERCEPTOR. WHY IS STEPHEN HAWKING IN MY SHOW? I couldn't stop WTFing at that. And I couldn't understand half the things he was saying. That's just the weirdest, most annoying thing, what the hell? Oh Percy.

MEGATRON. ME-GA-TROOOOON. Kicked ass and took names. I approved of the holographic faces in the faceplate of Omega. And just, he's always awesome, he's always awesome. And then always gets his ass kicked, but oh well.

SHOCKWAAAAAAAVE is panicking, lulz. BUT HE KILLED--not gonna say it again. God. No. But dude, what ISN'T there to love about him? And the Elite Guard. Always cool.

CLIFFJUMPER GOT DIALOGUE. YAY~~~ AND I SPOTTED ALPHA TRION. Which amused me. That I even know him in the first place.

And. Just. Everything. Everything. I've probably missed a thousand other things because there was just so much love put into this, and heart, and soul. I am so, so glad to be a part of this cartoon's fandom. I just don't know what else to say right now. Man. God. Epic. Beyond epic. Way past everything. Forever.

using old tags that need to be used more, *flail!*, i am wreck-gar!, tired of tags yet?, shadow being a spaz, giant fighting robots, spoilarz, what the fucktimus prime, fangirl--no frelling apologies, holy shit that's a bear!, sheer awesomeness, deeper themes in unexpected places, episode review, omega supremely awesome, i luffs mah grumpybot/docbot/ratchetbot, things that are airwolf, how's that for a slice of fried gold?
