(no subject)
First driving lesson was NOT BAD. The instructor's really rad. Loose sense of humour, NASCAR fan (go Carl!), laid back. Did a lot of driving around the plaza dad always takes me to anyway. Had Arby's when I came back, spend the night with Ari. :DDD
Went to the mall, got Nightmare Revisited soundtrack, the special edition TNBC DVD, and two bags and a kazoo for just charity donation things at Hot Topic. Got TFA season 2 (I am STOKED that there is audio commentary!), along with Sonic Chronicles, Under the Knife 2 (I'm not bummed that it's not the first one, because I never planned on following the story, I just want to play one of the games), and Okami.
...I was left with not much money left, but I DID say I was gonna splurge next time I was out. XD I need a job damn it.
So then we chilled at Ari's, read a few TF comics, she got a bunch of TFA toys at ToysRUs (Blurr, Swindle, and Blitzy), and we popped in Repo! The Genetic Opera.
...Which...was...surprisingly disappointing. I mean, I desire the soundtrack so bad, because it rocks infinitely. But the movie itself is kind of...bland. And it feels just kind of like it didn't explain things well enough and didn't have enough characterization and such. Enjoyable, but now I'm kind of glad Ari and I never did any of those crazy roadtrip ideas to go see it on the road show.
...Still. I DO have a Nathan journal I made for-fucking-ever ago. MAYBE I'll see if I can't take the Repo! RPers and bring us up a few notches, maybe.
