Yes, it's cancer. No, it hasn't spread. The basic plan at the moment is he's going to get a couple inches of colon out sometime in the next two weeks, followed by many long weeks of recovery.
And I didn't thank you guys for your kind thoughts and comments. Kind of been trying not to worry about it, cuz, y'know, if I start worrying, then I'll just freak out, and, pfft, nobody wants to see that. It really does mean something, so, thank you.
In other news, dad scored him and me free tickets to the car show down at the Farm Show Complex again. :D And this year, we won't miss the badass exotic cars like we did before. *dies* Maybe I'll bring the digital camera so y'all can see some badassery and pretty without squinting at phone pics. We'll be doing that tomorrow, afternoon probably.
I might not even bother with Etown anymore. I don't know. I might send out those e-mails out tonight or tomorrow. Swear to god, that WPI stuff had better have been sent out, else I'm just going to be left with PennState. :| Not that that's bad, because that place is known for its argricultural education (including, of course, veterinary medicine) and being a good school, and I think it's the cheapest option, too? I just kind of would LIKE to have options. *shrugs* Makes it feel less forced.
Ah, I need to get an app done for
bellum_letale tonight. Good thing it's mostly done already.
I love how I can spend like 4 hours sitting around playing Fire Emblem. I'm so close to the end, but every mission now just gets longer and longer. I've been going through my CDs, and I get through about four by the time I'm all said and done.
Is it too difficult for some people to put ice on their god damn section of sidewalk so that maybe people don't DIE? Honestly.
