(no subject)
Was aiming for 5k tonight just because. Didn't do it. A little over 3k words, tho. Posted the next bit in my writing comm.
I have apparently found my writing...thing this year. Last year I decided my writing totem was this witch hat. I lit scented candles. This year it's complete darkness. I lower the hat over my eyes, turn out the light, turn off my monitor.
Which means there'll be a fuckton more mistakes, but hey. XD I think writing about Eight running from Klingons on Risa is always going to make me smile.
Oh, and I uploaded new music to my mp3 player. I turned it on, and THE MOST EPIC MUSIC EVER flowed from it. I also realized I can't write to "Time Warp" because it's too much fun. XD
So basically all is well in NaNo-land. I just, uh. Need to get that volunteer thing going so I can at least be a little busy. Which will be much better for my NaNoing. *snerk*
I'm so happy and inspired seeing a good chunk of my flist doing it this year, too.
TSO concert tomorrow! I know, I know, I go to it ever year now, but it's always win. :D Last year was a little meh, but I always have high hopes. I don't give a damn what Ari says. :P They rock, and they will forever rock.
Also, West Wing marathons are fun when you do them with someone else. Bravo had another one going that went up to the end of the first season, so mum and I had to watch ITSOTG, both parts, on DVD since they didn't show those. I think I'll have to pop in "Noel" tomorrow then just...to finish off the whole shooting saga for me. Oh Josh. ♥
