MySpace turning it’s back on athiests/agnostics

Feb 01, 2008 01:20

reposted from my MySpace blog

I'm more that just a tad upset with MySpaces handling of this situation and after some thought have decided I'm done with this site and would encourage anyone else who is tired of mass media meandering to religious fruitcakes to do the same. I will leave my account active for a few days so anyone wanting my e-mail address or some other way to contact me can contact me for it, after February 8th though I will delete the account. I will not support in any way this kind of intolerance.

I will leave links to two articles, one on the Secular Student Alliance (a group I am very familiar with and hold in high regard) web site and the second an article in The Plain Dealer explaining the situation:

SSA
MySpace: No place for Atheists?

The Plain Dealer
MySpace deletes hacked Web site for atheists and agnostics

I understand the the majority or religious people have much more important things to do than complain about how they are being repressed and then go crusade against people that believe differently from them, why doesn't Fox Media?
