STEP ONE
Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered... whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related to medium to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
If you wish for real life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ.
STEP TWO
Surf around your friends list to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You don't have spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
1. Inspiration
Or, at the very least, time to write something fun. I've been relegated to writing Tommy fic, for crying out loud. LAT has been shelved for almost a month now, and I can't convince myself it's worth returning to. I've got another sort-of-revamp brewing, but no idea what I want to do with it. blah.
2. Salmon tempura
I'll actually be getting this in a few weeks, but I still want it. ^_^
3. Incense
As in, the good kind; not the crap I have to buy from WalMart. I mean, I like the smell of gardenias, but I'd like a little variety.

I can remember being a little kid, like 5 or 6, and hearing my mom talk about how much she liked this album -My mom, who doesn't like The Who- but I've never heard anything from it, and I can't find a torrent. *looks longingly at B&N*

otherwise, I don't get to cook for Christmas, and there will be no actual room in my room... again.

I know it has to be in the house somewhere, probably next to my Squeeze CD that I've been looking for for two years.

Mostly just the central book and the X-Men part, but I kinda want the rest of it, too.

Eventually, I'll just break down and buy the damn soundtrack, but I refuse to go out of my way and pay for CD that costs more than the actual movie for one song.
