I really suck at this updating everyday thing, so here's my last four happy links.
Happiness is...
...
Lee Pace in a dress...
NASA naming a treadmill after Stephen Colbert...
sabinelagrande's SGA porn, which I totally read while the 2nd graders were playing piano
...and, last, but not least,
AmazonFail. Why does this make me happy, you ask? Because it proves, even on a small scale, that consumers still have some power and will not put up with shit from businesses. Over the last few days, the internet (or some corners of it, anyway) has exploded, and not with wank or fandom omgs, but with thoughtful, socially conscious outrage and the demand that unjust business practices be immediately redressed. Amazon's PR contact department has thrown up their hands in surrender, and they're scrambling to think of some excuse that makes them look like plain old dumbasses instead of giant dicks. Because of us, because of consumers who will not tolerate this kind of irresponsibility and oversight. There's hope for us yet, guys.
