This is for all you people that think that you're trying to hard and I'm not trying at all. Here's my situation. Right now, I live in a household with my father, an emotionally abusive alcoholic, and my sister, your average cute, little girl, whom everyone would bend over backwards for. Every day, I work my ass off and try to live what little bit of a life I can on the internet, since I'm bound to the home by work. My father has be stuck at home as both a housemaid and a babysitter, taking care of the household while he works and watching my sister, so she doesn;t do anything she's not supposed to. Every day, I work, and wait for my dad to come home, so I can cook him and everyon else dinner, as quickly and efficiantly as possible, to keep my dad happy. Why? if it's so bad, why not just leave? That would be the sensable thing to do. Okay, let's explore that option. We are the only family left here, since everyone else moved away and mom died. It is just me, dad, and sister. if I leave, I am abandoning them. But why should that matter, what have they done for you, you ask? Family is still family, no matter what they're like, and I have an obligation to their well being. if I leave, I'm abandoning the sister to him, and I certainly can;t take her with me. I have no money to my name, beacuse he will not let me have a job. he wants me home. The only vehicle I have is under his name, so he can control it and every facet of it. So I can't escape on my own, then have someone else take me. Great idea, so who? Friends! Well, let's see, the only people I could consider friends, that are nearby, one of them is a strain enough on his mother as it is, and the other, while willing, can't support anyone else. Family? There is none left in this area. The closest is two hours away. Extended friends, like those on the internet? Well, there's three, and all of them are willing, but none of them is within a thousand miles, and most don't have the means to get to me, much less do anything else. And even assuming I could escape, there's nothing to stop him from dragging me back, especially if i tried to escape to somewhere nearby.. So if it's fight or flight, and flight won;t work, then why not fight. Stand up to him and stand up for myself. Let me tell you a bit of what happened the last time I tried that. he was beating on my dog and I told him to stop it. I stood up and put myself between me and her. He grabbed me by the throat and held me there. I don't actually remember what he said, I was more concerned about what I was going to do next. In a fight against him, I'd lose, and probably end up seriously hurt, especially considering he's always drinking. Literally. Always. So let's see, I can;t un. There's nowhere t go and no way to get there. I can't fight, not without ending up hurt, or worse. So now how does it sound? Hmm? Anyone else got any ideas, because while I'm pretty sure I haven't covered everything here, I have thought trough it at some point. Come on, any idea. Just through your ideas into the bender I call my life and we'll see how well they fare against the blades of my family. Thanks for the support, all you people who sit there in your homes who look down on me and think I'm not doing anything while you sit surrounded by your own families. You know who you are, I won;t bother sayinbg who.

End of line.
