(no subject)
hey...updating cuz couple people asked me why i was slacking off so i figured give them an entry. well since my last entry, what was it? a year ago?? lol. alot has happened. baseball (everyones favorite part=sports) is going ok..we are 5-4 but could be better. i've been playing left for the majority n batting 6 or 7th but i need to hit the ball better. o well. we play again on monday, wednesday, thursday, saturday tournament in indaina for this upcoming week.
if you havent seen my profile lately, my great gram died about two weeks ago. that was the first death in my family while i was alive and even though she was 97, it was hard to take. i was at a game when i was told n i started to tear up alittle bit n my coach talked to me for a little bit which helped. then he let me pitch for the rest of the game n i did pretty good. went for two innings and struck out 3. but ya, i was gone from school for the next two days with the viewing and funeral. the funeral was hard to take. my uncle tommy wrote a free verse poem on the occassion and i again teared up during it. so did my dad which made it worse cuz that was the first time i ever saw him cry.
later that weekend my cuz MJ got married so i went to that reception. it was awesome. my dad comes up to me with a pitcher of beer and says " you have to get drunk at a wedding so tonight im going to teach you to drink like a man" so i got to drink all the beer and other liquor i wanted, which was pretty cool. the beer i had was Miller Light and i wasn't too bad actually. the taste didnt bother me at all surprisingly. then my parents kept egging me on to dance with this really good looking girl there that goes to bg. we arent related so saying this is not a bad thing. i danced with amanda diantonis for two songs which we talked and she remembered me from the luau dance from bg last year..which i didnt really enjoy going to cuz forced to karoake n most of you know i hate doing stuff like that infront of a major crowd..solos i mean.
well if you have been reading the paper over the past week you would've seen the highlights of the curve classic, and what a classic it was. i was there for the thursday game against huntingdon and the championship game on sunday. the championship game was amazing, besides the coldness (IT WAS FREAKING SNOWING!). it was soo close in the end, we were winning 2-1 and in the top of the 7th Bishop McCort scored two runs to make it 3-2 them. so its our half of the 7th and first two people get out which leaves Brett Weibley. count comes 2balls and 2strikes and 2outs. next pitch and theres a line drive down the left field and it goes straight into the corner of the stands for a game tying homerun!! it was amazing. everyone was jumping and cheering for h-burg! next inning Weibley comes into pitch and gets outta the inning with the score still tied, 3-3. Ben Shoop leads off and singles but stretches 2nd on an advancing bunt by Steve Erb. Jewel Reese comes in to pinch run for Shoop and Cory Miller smacks a single into the outfield which drives in Reese and we won the game! it was soo sweet!
well recently i have been asked to take a girl, Julie Davis, to prom so some friends of her and i could all go as a big group to dinner and stuff afterwards. i asked her and she gave me definetly as an answer, which i like. lol. so im really excited to go to prom again this year. and it will be so much better than bg's prom that i went to last year because i barely knew anyone cept for my date n her friend but other than that i was stranded. this year i'll know everyone almost because its my own damn school. lol. ill have tons of friends to talk to or w/e. im thinking of possibly having a swimming party at my house afterwards but not too sure yet. whatever happens, im positive that Julie and I will have a great time. im not sure what car i wanna take but may ask my cuz if i can borrow his infiniti cuz it is pretty damn nice. but who knows, she is getting a new car because she was in a wreck on friday, thank god she is ok. some ass hole was speeding at 62mph and tried to put the brakes on too fast in wet weather and slammed into her back causing the trunk to be literally in the location of the backseat. its a miracle, she said, that the gas tank didnt explode. a miracle which i am soo thankful for.
so thats about it i guess. school is almost done, with the exception of a couple projects that are due.
o ya, this summer i will be going to the VANS WARPED TOUR IN PITTSBURGH! i'll be going to see mainly AVENGED SEVENFOLD (my favorite band as of about a month and half ago) my favorite song on their latest cd, WAKEN THE FALLEN, is most likely Second Heartbeat or I Won't See You Tonight Part 1. the entire cd is amazing! latas!
