Prompt: Sleepwalking!Chris
Two things instantly occur to Darren as he wakes. First he isn’t quite sure which city he’s in right now, and the second is that his arms are full of soft, warm person. Cleveland, he’s in Cleveland, he hopes because he vaguely remembers getting the crowd to cheer last night. It would be beyond mortifying to cheer the wrong city name at a concert. There’s still the dilemma of having someone in bed with him. He slowly opens his eyes, squinting into the sun. When his eyes adjust, he recognizes the light brown hair of the guy snuggled into his neck.
He knows Chris will be mortified again. This is the third time this week that he’s sleep walked into Darren’s bed. He cautiously brings a hand up to brush Chris bangs away. The motion causes Chris to sigh and snuggle closer. The right thing to do would be to wake him, reassure him that Darren isn’t angry, upset, or disgusted, and then send him back to his own bed. Darren prides himself on doing the right thing, but this one time he just can’t seem to convince himself to. He gently puts his arm back on Chris’ waist as he closes his eyes and let his head fall back into the pillow. He was content to just wait for Chris to wake up, but instead slipped back to sleep.

Prompt: Darren Catches Chris searching for a copy of Billboard Magazine.
Chris’s frustrated sigh caught his attention. He glanced over to where his coworker stood a few yards away apparently having a heated discussion on his phone. Chris sighed again, cursing under his breath, as he hung up the phone. Concerned, Darren tightened the lid on his bottled water before tossing it into his chair. He stopped before getting Chris’ attention because he just noticed that he was apparently on the phone again.
“You don’t have it either?” Darren knew that ‘Chris voice’ and it was not one that Darren particularly enjoyed because it meant that he hadn’t had his diet coke for the morning, or he was annoyed.
“It’s Billboard magazine. It’s fairly popular, or I thought it was anyway.” Oh, this was too good to let go. Darren lifted up on his toes to rest his chin on the shoulder opposite the one Chris was currently holding his blackberry.
“Whatcha doin’?” Darren asked just loud enough to startle the other man.
“Damn, Darren.” Chris jumped causing his blackberry to clatter to the blacktop, the back panel and battery flying in different directions effectively ending the call. “If you broke it, you totally owe me a new one.”
“Sure, but I doubt it. That used to happen to mine a lot.” Darren said collecting the pieces of the blackberry for Chris.
“You mean you had this annoying friend who scared the crap out of you making you drop it all the time?” Chris teased as he put the pieces back together and powered the phone back up, “If that had been an important call I would be so pissed right now.”
“I’m hurt. Finding a copy of Billboard magazine with me on the cover isn’t important?” Darren asked with mock sadness.
“You’re insufferable, Criss. Not only do you scare people, and throw their phone, but you also listen in on their conversations.” There was slight hint of playful in his tone at least, but his face had turned beet red.
“Uh huh, you don’t say that when you have to make out with me for 16 straight takes.” Darren continued to tease. “By the way, I didn’t even touch your phone, until I picked up the pieces.”
“It was still your fault.” Chris purposely hedged the making out part, getting serious, “Sorry if it’s a little weird. You know, me wanting to get a copy of the magazine.”
“No it’s not weird. I’m a little flattered even.” Darren gave him a sincere smile, “Come on, I have a few advanced copies they sent me in my trailer. I’ll even sign one if you want.”
“Shut up,” Chris smacked his arm playfully, “You’re so full of shit, Darren.”
“You wouldn’t have me any other way.” He said tossing his arm across Chris’ shoulders leading them toward his trailer.
