Why do the penguins get to freeze their climate adapted butts off??

Well, what a glorious change in weather! It has been endless days of heat, sweat, headaches and very smelly people at school, then all of a sudden…BING…its cold rainy and comfortable again! I used say that I loved summer when I was younger, but now I see it as boring, tedious and very much annoying. Plus it’s better to curl up at night under soft and comfortable blankets with a heater on, much more better than it is to lay in bed wishing you were in a bath tub full of ice. Its even worse when you fall to sleep dreaming of penguins and other creatures of the arctic that have the luxury of freezing there fully climate adapted butts off.

Next week I shall be away at the wonderful year 12 camp from Monday to Friday. It shall be all games, training and fun until the year 8’s arrive at the camp for their three days on the Wednesday. They had better watch themselves though, because I’m bound to be very tired by that time, and when I’m tired I’m moody, and when I’m moody I’ve got a really bad temper which is very tightly restrained most of the time but is still ever present in my mind, and when I’ve got a bad temper I’m very likely to not take petty shit from year 8’ers. The things they do are idiotically pathetic and I’m glad I’ve had the privilege of being grown up; some of them are very arrogant also, which is not a favourable trait in young people. I’ll be taking many photos that are going to be hilarious, so I’ll have to do a ginormous photo update when I get back, though not until Sunday probably because there is a party on Saturday night. Mmm, the drunkness off it all…
