NYC Demonstration
I just got back from a protest outside the Egyptian mission to the UN. There were several hundred people there, chanting slogans in Arabic and English. I was only able to understand a few words of the Arabic chants, so I will try to find a source online with a list of the chants and translations. Everyone was very passionate and exited despite the cold weather. There is another protest planned for tomorrow at the Egyptian consulate, hopefully people will be there even though it is supposed to snow. Everyone I spoke to seemed sure that Mubarak would have to leave soon. There doesn't seem to be any way he can come back from this.
