Mostly because I didn't take my computer with me on my weekend trip. Rather hard to update LJ without it:)
1. So apparently switching your keyboard to a different layout such as
Dvorak can prevent repetitive wrist injuries. Which I suppose it can also alleviate pain and such which I definitely get if I'm on my computer for too long.
Most curious.
2. NY was interesting. The drive through upstate New York was gorgeous. Somehow I always forget how pretty nature can be because I mainly live in a city.
3. You can in fact become a
Cheese Monger. I sort of want to become one just so I can say "Well, I'm a cheese monger. What do you go?"
4. Some things of note
Killing Moon by
inkandfakefurs was updates back in January and I totally am only now getting around to catching up with it. I have recced this before. It's a Harry/Draco story that is basically everything Book 7 should have been and so much more. It's got romance, a plot, action, interesting magic and above all its human.

My Thoughts: Simply epic characterization. This is definitely a story that highlights female characters in Star Trek and it's hilarious and interesting.
