A healthy dose of Eww with beans...
Yah! For Spring Break! It was a gorgeous day outside so the sister and I went out to fly our crappy $2 Kite albeit it was POTC with Jack Sparrow on it...it actually ripped midair because of the strong wind.
I had the crappiest week of my like last week. Not fun...well at least it's over. I try not to think about it too much. Pretty much crushed my hopes and dreams for the future. I think I will be fine, it just sucks when things don't go your way. Or even slightly to your right, try the opposite direction.
So I wrote today! It was most exciting! I'm trying to finish my hd_holidays fic early so I don't have another fiasco like I did with springtime_gen...speaking of which they have started posting! Check it out.
Random thoughts about Sirius in cut...
I was surfing through some of the comms and came across a new exchange called siriusisnotdead which is basically an AU fic exchange where Sirius is not dead, but any relationship must be when he is an adult(so no Sirius/Lily unless it's nec). I found this interesting because I find Sirius as a character fascinating. He's kind of like a romance novel hero if you think about it. Popular at school, good looking, abandons his wealth power and family title for an ideal (and the fact his family is a little loopy). He is also impulsive, manipulative, short-tempered, and rebellious. Despite his faults I like him, but I kind of feel like denying his death is almost romanticizing him...which I'm not sure I want to do. The concept of having him somehow comeback from the veil is a different matter altogether and I don't think I'd consider it AU until after Book 7. We simply do not know. I haven't read much Sirius fic ...rec anyone?

Wow...lj just lost the other part of my post. I don't remember what I wrote. It's a really well written fic. Angst/Drama mainly, but not overdone or anything. Harry/Draco.
Summary: A secret history is a version of history at odds with commonly accepted historical narrative, a history claimed to have been deliberately suppressed or forgotten. Harry Potter, struggling to make a life for himself after the war, is about to discover his.
